Dear Colleagues:
I received a few requests for a hit, so I am posting those sites which
were recommended. I would like to thank again all those who responded!

Cornell Theory Center K-12 Gateways - Ask-an-Expert
http://www.tc.cornell.edu/Edu/MathSciGateway/expert.html
Ask An Expert website includes:
Ask An Expert - Ask-A-Scientist links collected together in one
very useful page. Includes Ask A Geologist, Astronomer, Volcanologist,
Bird Expert, Dr. Math, Cardiologist, and more.
Dr. Universe - Dr. Universe has taken it upon herself to ask
those questions you've always wondered about, but didn't ask
because you didn't want to seem stupid. Dr. Universe doesn't worry about

seeming stupid, because asking those questions is her job.
The Mad Scientist Network - Another forum for asking questions of
scientists.
Pitsco's Launch to Ask an Expert - And yet another. If the above
sites don't have the answers, try this one.
Houghton Mifflin's Ask An Expert Page - This includes "Ask a Museum

Curator" and "Ask a Librarian" as well as many of the other more common
experts.

Several Ask an Expert sites are linked from this location:

I'm sure you will all from all the Kids'Connect volunteers who
subscribe to this list. It's a wonderful resource.

This is a great service!
