DDC is also available from OCLC on CD-ROM! I started (many years ago)
with the Abridged edition then moved to the Unabridged edition. A couple
of years ago I purchased the CD-ROM and am very happy with it. The major
feature I like is the ability to keyword search and get a list of all
numbers that include that word. While that may sound like overkill, it
is extremely helpful especially when cataloging a new-to-the-collection
subject. And not having to flip back and forth between sections and
across volumes is a big timesaver.

Another neat feature is the inclusion of sample LC subject headings for
most numbers.
