TARGET: Student-Produced Newspaper (6th Grade)

Dear Virtual Colleagues,

I will be teaching a 6 week class to 6th graders beginning November 16
dealing with word processing and newspaper (or newsletter) production.
Our school uses Macs and ClarisWorks 4.0., and we have a Sony Mavica for
pictures.  This is only our second year with a Mac lab, so I would
consider us to be competent but not dazzling in our use of computers.

Do any of you have examples of student-produced newsletter or newspapers
that you would share with me?  You could fax or snail-mail a hardcopy to
me at the number/address below, or send a file as an attachment.

If there is another person at your location who does this type of thing,
please consider forwarding my request to him/her.

Any advice/suggestions/samples would be most appreciated.  I will post a
HIT if there is interest.  TIA.  Donna
