I have a rule that there are no games on the computers in my library, and that's that. I don't even allow looking at TV or sports sites any more. Used to be just NFL and NBA, but now there's NASCAR and wrestling, and before you know it........ Same with TV. Disney.com and nickatnite.com end up leading to MTV. One time I was letting some 6th grade boys look up cars and BMX bikes. I told them they had to approve the address with me before they typed it in. One kid asked if he could type in chevycamaro.com, as his uncle had a 72 or something, and I said sure. Up popped a naked woman! I thought I was being so careful, too. I tell the kids, these computers were purchased for educational purposes, and games are not one of them. If they want to play games or look at rock stars, they'll have to do that outside school. Put that in your AUP! There are so many cool sites to look at. Who needs games?
