ADVICE NEEDED: When to weed Internet books? EXAMPLES: How long are you keeping books on how to use the Internet? I'm thinking of pulling a book on the Internet that has a 1995 copyright. It has chapters on Netiquette, E-Mail, Usenet, Telnet, FTP, Archie, Gopher and WAIS. It describes Mosaic as the old standby web browser and Netscape as the new browser on the block. How long would you keep a book of internet addresses? Some addresses go obsolete before the book is published, yet I find a certain percentage of the addresses are still good after three years.
