Hi Folks--
Thanks so much for all your time & effort letting me know about the following

watching!

HERE GOES:

One spot you might try is

http://www.eaglewatch.com/liveeaglecam.htm

This is a quick explanation of what it's all about:

There are now two video cameras at Reelfoot Lake State Park. (In
Tennessee) One of the cameras is aimed at the nest of Reelfoot and
Laughing Eyes, the other is aimed at the roost of two injured eagles held
in captivity at the Park's Visitor's Center. The view of the LiveEagle Cam
will show the wild eagles' nest from between 4:00 p.m.
and 9:00 a.m. (Central Time)and the captive eagles between 9:00
            a.m. and 4:00 p.m.(Central Time).

The captive eagles' names are Peg and Bly. Peg is a female bird
who was found injured at Reelfoot Lake State Park in January of
1989. She has only one leg. Bly was found in July of 1989 just
north of Blytheville, Arkansas. He suffers from lead poisoning,
and has poor muscle control of both his wings and his legs.
Neither of these birds could survive in the wild.

This page is refreshed every 45 seconds. Faster refresh is
              available.

The teachers and students are so interested in what's happening with the
eagles that I keep the computers set on this site whenever they're not
being used.

Regarding curricular areas - a fabulous site that my 1st and 2nd grade
teachers use is NASA's StarChild at

    http://starchild.gsfc.nasa.gov/docs/StarChild/

The user can select primary or intermediate-level space information.

Judy,
The elementary teachers in my school district put together websites that fit
our curriculum at each grade level k-5. At each level there are numerous
websites with brief descriptions of how it fits the curriculum. You may
want to check out this site for your teacher. I don't know if any of the
sites are live but she might find something new.

To find the links go to: http://www.elmbrook.k12.wi.us/index.htm
Then go to : Educational Resource Links > Integrating the internet into the
K5 curriculum
