Wardlaw, Lee._101 ways to but your parents_.1996 This is an entertaining school story about a boy (and his friends) who are enrolled by their parents in a summer school writing course at the end of their 6th grade year. Sneeze (the boy's nickname) needs to raise money to go the invention convention so he decides to write a book called "101 ways..." in the class and sell it. He and his friend also get a summer job. They of course get in trouble trying to sell their book. There are many interactions between the parents, teachers, and friends. Lee Wardlaw knows her nitch. She did a similar good job in her "Seventh grade weirdo." This 199 page book is a fun, light read. *** Frederick Muller fmuller@planet.net Halsted Middle School Library (973) 383-7440 ext.228 59 Halsted Street FAX (973) 383-7432 Newton, NJ 07860 ----- My book reviews are compiled at http://www.halsted.org/br.htm My personal site is at http://www.planet.net/pfmuller =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
