Hello, LM_NET---
I am trying to find a favorite book that I read to my preschool children
almost 25 years ago. It was one of those that came in a book club that lots
of new parents join, with Seuss and P.D. Eastman and other authors. I am
not sure of the title or author, but started (I think) with, "Hello, Jack.
Hello, Jake. Shake hands, shake hands, shake." It also had, "Hand picks an
apple, hand picks a plum, Dum ditty dum ditty, dum, dum, dum," and" ends
with, "...millions of monkeys drumming on drums." I read it so many times
that I can still almost do it by memory! It was one of my kids' favorites.
It has been gone for years, but a new generation is on the way and I want
to read this same story to them. Does anyone have any idea of the book I am
talking about? I would certainly appreciate any clues to its identity so I
could search for it. TIA
