TECH: anti-virus software

Hello Friends,
        I just purchased a new PC at home with WIN 98, 400 mh, 6.4 gig hard drive,
64 mb RAM.  What would be the best anti-virus software to purchase?  I'm
looking at McAffee or Norton.  I'm seeing different versions and prices and
it's very confusing.  What's the opinion from the experts?  Thanks for the
advice!
