Hello again, I've really enjoyed this thread, obviously , as this is my second post. More of my parents' books that came from New England to Ohio with us and that I devoured as I grew up--anyone remember The Five Little Peppers, Elsie Dinsmore, Penrod, or Penrod and Sam? I was conflicted. I wanted to be as good as Elsie, but was very much fascinated by Penrod's daring! Also enjoyed the descriptions of life in a different time from which I lived. Loved Elsie's dresses! And I just got an e-mail from one of you informingme that she still has her copy of Sand Dune Pony! This is great fun.
