I found a very nice list on a homeschooler's page http://www.jps.net/bmoon/homeed/reading.htm Its not what I remember but it still is a very good list. What I am thinking of is something like "The Books Every Child Should Read Before They Graduate" Does this ring a bell with anyone? Best!
