KOSOVO With all the events happening in Kosovo, this site provides up to date information on the situation there. The site is divided into the following sections: Recent News, Background Information, Timelines, Maps, Literature Guide, Student connections, Web Guide, Quiz (with related help links so the students can find out the information they need to know for the quiz), and Related Lesson Plans. This site contains a great deal of information for your students. This would be a good site to use not only for History/ Geography, but also for Current Events. It also has many other resources that are accessible to your students and your fellow teachers in helping them understand the conflict in Kosovo. The Kosovo site is hosted by The New York Times and is suitable for History/Georgraphy students in grades 6-12 and is located at: http://www.nytimes.com/learning/general/specials/kosovo/ ############################################### Permission is granted to redistribute the above message provided that credit is given to Network Nugget Listserve and no fees are charged.
