Accelerated Reader record keeping and awards

Last year my school started an AR program. I felt my method of keeping track
was ineffiecient -- especially at the end of the year with kids quickly
trying to make goals! I had trouble keeping up. We used certificates,
buttons, and ribbons for the various point rewards. This year an aid is
taking over the program and I need help in simple methods of record keeping
and awards. Any ideas out there?
