Science magazines for 6-8

Hello,

My 6th and 7th grade teachers have requested that I subscribe to a science
and/or health related magazine for their students that they might be able to
use as well.  They suggested Scientific American, but I think that's too
advanced.  We get National Geographic and Kids Discover.  We were a K-6
school, expanding to K-8, so our collection is weighted toward the lower
grades. Any suggestions?    Thanks!
