Hi everyone

I just joined LM_NET a few weeks ago so I'll take this special day to tell
you about myself.

I'm the teacher-librarian at Havenwood Public School in Mississauga,
Ontario, Canada. Our enrolment this new school year (we start after Labour
Day) will be about 640 children from Kindergarten to Grade 5. We are part of
the Peel District School Board (http://www.peel.edu.on.ca/) which has 152
elementary schools and 28 high schools (with 699 portables); 69,282
elementary students and 35,258 high school students.

I've been the librarian at Havenwood since 1974 and loved every year of it!
We run an automated system with Columbia. This summer our tech department
has installed a Columbia update to make it Y2K OK. Our district, though, is
looking at several newer systems to replace the DOS based Columbia.
