Dear Netters, A co-worker is helping plan a 75th anniversary event for our local public library. She's in charge of activities for children. So far, she's planning storytelling and dress as favorite book characters for the library festival. She'd like ideas that she can take to the approx. 12 elementary schools in the county to get all children involved. Do you have any wonderful ideas that might chronicle children and libraries over the past 75 years? I'm planning to book talk some of the early Caldecott and Newbery books to show my students how publishing for children has changed. Any other ideas?
