TECH: Microbar with inkjet printer

Dear LM_Netter's:

I purchased the Microbar software so that I could print my own barcodes for
items that come from companies that do not offer processing.

Now I have been informed that Microbar will not print on anything except
the older printers with ribbon type ink or a true laser jet.

I need to print on an HP 520 printer.  Has anyone successfully used
microbar with an inkjet printer.  If so, please let me know what setup
values you used.
