African Edventure

The African Edventure departure date is only 6 weeks away, and the launch
of the new web site even closer (www.african-edventure.org).  The new site
will replace the temporary site at the same URL.

If you would like to request a copy of the Edventure video, a 10 min fast,
fun, and exciting introduction to the Edventure aimed at children with the
worlds highest bungy jump we will do in October, Kilimanjaro, 4 million
year old fossil skulls and leopards eating impala, elephants, lions chasing
zebra, sharks with big teeth and burping birds, go to the web site and
click "Edventure video" on the front page (it is free).  It is only in NTSC
format, although it will be streamed form the new web site together with
the "Idiots guide to sequencing DNA" and the "funky-fungi" videos.  We also
have it on CD, but did not have the budget to make free copies of the CD.

We will send out another message once the new site is up!  This will
contain all of our communication details, so you can e-mail us en route, or
let your students call us on the satellite phone.

Departure from South Africa is planned for early October and I leave the
USA in about 2.5 weeks.
