New Year's Celebrations around the world

Dear LM_NET
A 3rd grade teacher has asked for books and websites on the way different
cultures celebrate the new year around the world.  I've pulled out a few
things from our collection and was hoping for some ideas from LM_NET.  I
did't have any luck searching the archives.  As always  Thanks
