HIT:Holiday decorations

I have a corrugated cardboard fireplace that I set up in the library where
we gather our school's donations to the local animal shelter as a "Christmas
For the Animals" display.  I found some knitted stockings at the dollar
store that say things like "Meowy Christmas" and "Santa Loves Dogs Too" and
hung those across the front.  I have also had a Mittensock Tree which was an
artificial tree decorated with mittens, socks, hats, etc. donated for the
needy--but that needs to be started, say, in October, not this late in the
season so maybe next year I will be organized enough to do both!
