A Spanish teacher asked if I had any ideas for a research assignment for his Spanish II Honors Class (mostly Freshmen) involving use of technology, particularly using the Internet. He is not interested in a "penpals" type of assignment nor any of the standard "look up--countries, foods, cultures, etc." He has two blocks (80 min./80 min.) to do this. Any whiz bang ideas out there? They want to encourage this class to continue in Spanish so they are looking for ideas that will motivate students.
