Sensormatic security systems

I am looking for a security system for my small, 5000 volume mid school
library.  I have received some literature from Sensormatic and would
like some input from anyone that uses this system.  Please give me pros
and cons for the system, where you installed the security strip and if
visable did students tear them out.  Thanks very much for your help.
