Target: Technology Help

Our monitor on the AV/Multimedia cart no longer fuctions.
When we attempt to view a computer presentation, the screen gives
only short jumping horizontal lines.  We have an Aver key set up.
The TV is only a few years old. Aver key is older.
Could it be that the Aver key is "dead?"
