WOW! All of you are the BEST!
I was a little nervous posting my first question on this phenomenal
listserv. And I couldn't believe the response! I even had some "friends" ask
for a HIT.
Since I'm just starting out, I'll summarize what I found out.

      * You will want to use the medium to heavy weight of Pellon since it
will be sturdier. The lightweight Pellon may be too flimsy.

      * Be careful when coloring on the Pellon. Some markers may streak. Berol
Art Markers were suggested by one person who has used them with much success!
Some friends even painted them.

      * You can buy Pellon with adhesive on the back to IRON your design onto
a piece of felt. What a great idea!

       * You can even trace your design onto paper, cut it out, laminate it,
trim it,and then glue it to a heavyweight Pellon. I love that idea, too!

       * Many people like Pellon because even with the heavier weights, you
can still place it on top of a design and trace, if needed.

        * Some suggested to use the stick-on Velcro to place on the back of
the design.

        * A few friends suggested that Pellon was great for making a character
that can face the opposite direction. Great idea!

A HUGE thanks to all who helped me! I can't wait until I try these ideas.
And thanks for making it easier to go into that fabric store again! :)
