Hi everyone, I'm coming to you once again needing some book suggestions. My son is being asked to read novels about students who suffer some disability. The books that come to mind are FLOWERS FOR ALGERNON, OF MICE AND MEN and DIBS. These are too obvious and so the teacher is asking for titles other than these, titles that are well written and emotionally powerful. Do you have any suggestions? (college level or senior high school level please.) Thank you in advance, from Helen Dittmer , Redwood Day School librarian, Oakland, CA <hdittme@ix.netcom.com> =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
