Dear all,
as a Professional Information Consultant I have had request from a =
colleague who doing research on the teaching and learning outcomes of =
the indigenous people of Australia especially those in my state of South =
Australia. We have nine schools in our far north, Anangu schools that =
cater for Aboriginal students. This colleague is interested in making =
contact with schools and universities that service the indigenous =
Inuits in Alaska, the Sami in Sweden/Norway, the Maori in New Zealand =
and the Celts in North-West Wales. I believe that information regarding =
what provisions or strategies are made available to these groups to =
access, locate and use information and resources would be of immense =
value as well. How do these groups access current information and =
resources? How are resources made available to them? What strategies are =
used to include/embed information literacy into the curriculum?
Thanking you in anticipation for your help.
Yours sincerely
John C. Sloan
