Netters: Last year many of you responded with good suggestions for primary animal nonfiction books. Publishers and/or series named were: True Books, Checkerboard, Rourke, Child's World, Crabtree, Early Bird (Lerner), and Heinneman. If you have Heinneman and/or Child's World sets, could you please tell me whether you prefer them to the other series listed, and why? (binding, photos/artwork, quality of information, etc.) I am planning a big order and the sales rep who dropped off catalogs didn't bring samples. I did notice that Child's World and Heinneman seemed to have more pages per book than some of the others. A recent post discussed new primary encyclopedias, specifically, Heinneman's. I contacted Lois (who did the post) but she no longer had the email address of the respondent who had them. I would appreciate s/he contacting me and letting me know how the Heinneman ency. set is. Thanks!!!
