My question about accessing 1950's newspapers was of interest to more than just me. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to find these articles- I was afraid of that. Most people confirmed that current articles are pretty easy to find on the web, but older ones are usually on microfilm at university and some public libraries. Roxane E. Oakley, Library Development Consultant with the state of Ohio, said that Ohio has a Ohio Statewide Reference Backup Service available to libraries for questions such as this. So...I am going back to my patron to ask more detailed questions and provide him with these answers. Thanks so much to those who responded. You make all the difference. -- DaShannon Lovin, Media Specialist Blanchester High School Blanchester Ohio mailto:lovind@blanchester.k12.oh.us =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
