Re: End users are not experts!

I wonder if this is really true. Many times salespeople are not the
experts either. They may only know what they've read in a product
sheet, or what the company or store may be pushing at the time.
Librarians and media specialists who have used many different types
of equipment over the years can recommend what has worked or not
worked for them.

Think of everything that you purchase. Do you only take the
recommendation of a salesperson, or, do you take the advice of
friends and family who have purchased that item or something similar.
