 You can info and the

archives under the teacher talk section of the web page www.ncte.org. I

hope this helps. The level of interaction is also similar (I lurked for

about a month to get the feel of it.), there are 100+ individual messages

daily and the conversation varies from grading practice to research reports=
,

etc.

The National Council of Teachers of English has several listservs.

NCTE-talk is the most popular and probably the most useful.

You can get subscription information for all NCTE listservs here:

Excellent resource is C.A.T.E. which has a web site. It stands for

California Teachers of English, I believe.

CATENet is provided by the California Association of Teachers of English

(CATE), which is a California Non-Profit Public Benefit Corporation.

CATENet only exists because its membership supports the organization. If

you know anyone who would like to join the conversation, send them the

email address or send theirs directly to jburke=40englishcompanion.com. To

join CATE, email CATE's Membership Chair, Linda Stockton, at

lstock724=40aol.com. For further information about CATE, please visit their=

Web site at http://www.cateweb.org Thank you for your support.

This is the website for the National Council of Teachers of English. Follo=
w

the Teacher Talk link to subscribe to the listserv. You can also access

their archives by following the links.

National Council of Teachers of English is a good one. In fact, there is a=

lot there we can use too=21
