Hello, I have been lurking for about a week, in awe of the incredible wealth of information given out on this list. Pardon me if I commit any netiquette/list errors, please! I have been given the job of locating a software package for our very small school library (approximately 4000 titles). The only packages I have been able to find online are very expensive (Follett, Winnebago) and seem to be much more than we need. Are there other packages out there that would be more appropriate to our small, private school collection? Should we just "bite the bullet" as it were, and commit the money for one of the major packages? Are there any tips/hints/pitfalls we should know about? (I will post a hit if it isn't too basic a question to merit the use of bandwidth. I would be happy to take your advice on this also!) TIA, Gretchen L.
