SEC: economics

I'm stumped...but I bet one of you can help!!
A social studies teacher at my school wants to do a project on
developing countries and what their economies are in need of to become
more prosperous.  While my collection is relatively up to date, many of
the countries he wants to deal with are changing very quickly!  Studets
need to understand the current economic realities of these countries.
Any ideas about web sites that would help him??  Thanks!!
