 Dear Colleagues,
I've learned a lot about these interfaces. They are called, "computer
scan converters." It converts your computer signal into one that a normal
t.v. receiver can understand. The more you pay, the better the reception.
Also, more expensive ones include a remote control. They keep coming out
better & cheaper.
If you do a search on www.Google.com you can find vendors, reviews, and
general information on these boxes. I did locate some for under $100. Some
are so new that vendors don't even have them yet. Here are other helpful
responses I received.
I'll post more if I find out anything else interesting. Sounds like a
great device to have when you're working with 1 computer & a class.
I've also read about a new piece of software that lets you load an
Internet site, copy it onto your computer, & then let's it be accessed as if
you were actually online. "Web Buddy" $40 www.teachercreated.com (Teacher
Created Materials). Has anyone used this?
Thankyou for all the input & I hope this proves helpful to everyone who
requested more info.

*We ordered a device like that from CompUSA. It is called Pocket Scan
Converter. We also have a few AverKey devices that also do the same thing.
The CompUSA product is around $80.00. The Averkey is more expensive, but has
better resolution. I ordered the Averkey from Masteraudio Visuals in
Longview, Texas. Their web site is http://www.masteraudiovisuals.com

*We used a device called an IN-Focus box, but I can't remember the name
of the company. It might be In-focus.

*These days, depending on what type of equipment you have you
don't even need anything other than an RCA cable available from Radio
Shack for under $10...What we use here in Boothbay is one of our newer TVs
which has video in/video out ports....or a VCR which has those and attach
video into the TV and video out to the back of the MAC G3s. You then turn
video mirroring on and there's your computer screen on the TV.

*We recently purchased some from MDM but I don't have the address home. They
ran about $59.00 if I can recall.

*We use a device called Scan-it that costs about $120 or so and works fairly
 well.

*We use something called TVator, but it runs $237.00
