Okay, this is off the subject of school library media centers - but I don't
think it is as far removed as some other subjects covered here (a little
rationalization on my part). Does anyone else, in their 'free' time, help
manage a library for their church? If you do, do you use automation or stay
with the old 'sign the card' method? We have a collection of just under one
thousand books, 200 video tapes and 100 audio tapes. It is all paper now,
but as it grows I wonder if we should be using a computerized program. Has
anyone heard of or used LEX Systems (http://www.lex.sk.ca/index.html )? What
did you think of it?
