After being in this position for the second year, this year I am trying to implement flexible scheduling. Last year, I was part of the teacher's planning time since we were overcrowded. This year, as a result of a new school, I am no longer operating under a fixed schedule. However, teachers (K, 1, 4, & 5 at the moment) are asking me if I can schedule their classes at the same time every week. Part of the problem is that the teachers are required to hand in their schedule of when they are covering specific subjects (for the year, I think) to the office. I can understand their need to know their schedules in advance. I'm not sure how to respond to these teachers. What would you suggest? Thank you in advance.
