Your entire district is already a member of the Texas Library Connection. I know that because I just checked the TLC website membership information at http://www.tea.state.tx.us/technology/TLC/member.html (Click on Reg 8 on the map, then select Jefferson). That means that your students are already able to borrow materials from other schools throughout the state. There are sample ILL guidelines posted on the TLC website. Your district had to approve some sort of ILL guidelines in order to join TLC. Talk to your campus librarian or to Patty Duke at Region 8 (pduke@esc8.net) for more information. -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Melissa Davis Librarian Splendora Middle School Splendora I.S.D. 26175 FM 2090 Splendora, TX 77372 Internet: mbdavis@tenet.edu PHONE: (713)689-2853 mbdavis@splendora.k12.tx.us FAX: (713)689-8445 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
