Does AOL software offer you the ability to telnet to another server to download e-mail? My daughter would like to access her Cornell University e-mail from a laptop while on vacation. We are thinking of installing either AOL or Juno Web on the laptop since both ISP's have local telephone numbers from the state we are going to visit. We just do not know if we would be able to telnet to obtain access to her university account with their software. Our local ISP lets us telnet and download, but it runs off a cable modem so it is not an option for our laptop. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you. Gail M.
