This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_0031_01BED86C.27C5E1E0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hello everyone, by popular demand (and my own curiosity) ... I did a search for Sherlock using copernic and came up with some very interesting URLs for all of you MAC users (myself included at my new job in August - so my motivation wasn't entirely altruistic) ... http://www.apple.com/sherlock/ will take you to a starting point ... evidently, this Sherlock program is an add-on application to the new MAC OS 8.5 ... so, if you are not thinking of upgrading, good luck finding it to run on older software ... http://www.apple.com/education/k12/products/sherlock/index.html will also provide some benefits to educators and others ... http://www.zdnet.com/products/stories/reviews/0,4161,363853,00.html will take you to yet another review ... and finally, http://www.digitalproducer.com/pages/apple_introduces_mac_os_85_.htm will provide you with the words directly from the horse's mouth ... Steve Jobs ... and the introduction of the release of the new OS... Enjoy... One more interesting utility I think some of you might be interested in ... once again, only IBMs should apply, no MAC version available just yet... http://www.thornsoft.com/ will take you to a site that will provide you the opportunity to download ClipMate 5.0 or 5.1 ... It is a program that runs on your own computer and replaces the clipboard utility on your computer ... why? ClipMate creates a new entry for each item you save to the clipboard ... so, the old clipboard item in memory does not get deleted, it just gets filed... You may go on your merry way highlighting and copy items to your heart's content, fully knowing that each item saved is there when you need it ... full text, URLs from the Internet, content you find of interest on the Internet (and NOT necessarily the entire page!) ... a simply wonderful little utility that you may run at all times or shut down if you desire... lots of uses... eases cutting and pasting... one click brings up the file and you select the item you want to be active for pasting... then back to your document and paste away! Not needed any longer - delete button and it's gone! I think most will like it... much, much better than that old clipboard! Aloha y'all - - - Earl J.
