Subject:        NCATE Accreditation Seminar

As a professional in the school library media field, the American
Association of School Librarians and the Office for Accreditation
invite you to participate in a seminar to prepare you to review the
curriculums of the school library media programs accredited by the
National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).

The seminar is scheduled for Monday, June 28, 1999 from 1:00 to 4:00
in the Explorer room at the Fairmont hotel in New Orleans.  Briefly,
the agenda includes: presentations on NCATE accreditation in general,
the folio review process in general and the AASL Curriculum Folio
Guidelines for the NCATE Review Process.

Please indicate below whether you will be able to attend and either
email this reply to clee@ala.org or fax to 312-280-2433.  Please
respond by Friday, June 11, 1999.
