I have been fortunate to have worked with principals who saw the big picture in terms of what the LMS could bring to the school and district programs. I was evaluated as an educator and an administrator of a program that was expected to be "on the cutting edge" of literacy and information sciences. We spoke daily, and I was supported 100% in bringing Information Power Standards into the school program. It is my hope that as we move further and further into the Information Age, that more principals will see the value of the Library Media Specialist Role in the school program.
