I just have to add my comments!

My Head of School is one of my closest friends at PCS -- we chat, share
jokes and plan for the Library's future together.  I replaced someone who
had been at the school for 28 years, and without his support and guidance I
would never have stayed.

If you have a Head/Principal that isn't as supportive, try forwarding
library related articles to him/her.  Let them know how important our
contribution is to the education of our students.  Above all, find a
personal connection.  It can really make a difference.
