Dear Librarians,

        One of the elementary schools, where I am the librarian, is
overcrowded. One of the proposals is to move the library into the
multipurpose room. This room is also used as the cafeteria, and will
continue to be used as such. Is there any other library that is also used
as a cafeteria?

        I am writing a letter to the superintendent about why the library
should not be moved there. I am including: having food in the library,
too noisy, inaccessable shelving, and being out of the way from the rest
of the school. Is there anything else that I can write down?

        This proposal will be presented on Thursday, March 4. If you have
any ideas, please e-mail me by tomorrow afternoon (March 3). Thank-you
for your help.
