Library Curriculum

I am assisting our Lower School Director compile a grade by grade set of
skills that a part time librarian can refer to in order to insure that
our students in grades K-9 are being exposed to adequate library
skills.  Our director of technology teaches computer skills and computer
aided research as well as working with the teachers to integrate
technology into the classroom.  Our librarian is part time and does not
have a MLS.  Since it has been many many years since I have been an
active librarian, I am seeking assistance from this group. Can anyone
point me to a resource that offers this information or provide me with
their ideas as to developing an elementary library curriculum? I am
currently the Director of Development at Aiken Prep School (4K-9).
