Quakertown Community School District has three library vacancies effective
1999-2000 school year-
2 Contracted Middle School Librarians
1 Contracted Elementary Librarian

Requirements:
        * Pennsylvania Certification in Library Science
        * Strong background in technology
        * Strong interpersonal and communication skills
        * The ability to teach library skills to students
        *The ability to assist students and teachers in authentic assessment
        * The ability to assist teachers in creating and developing units of study
which
                utilize the resources of the library and the Internet

        Applications should be submitted as soon as possible. Interviews will be
scheduled during March, April and May.
