Gen: Melissa virus Copycat

Netters,  Are you restricting internet access during this time of
viruses?  We allow students and faculty to use e-mail freely at our
school... and I'm nervous that our network will get infected... They all
have free mail accounts, i.e. hotmail, free mail, etc... Advice???  Am I
being parnoid???
