GEN: Sacramento Bee articles on school libraries

Two articles in today's Sacramento Bee:

should be required reading for parents, school officials, policy makers ...
you name it.  The focus is on California, but the principles apply
everywhere.  Nothing will be new to folks on this list, but it is good to
see the issues addressed in the press, and in a clear and readable way.

Sample: "In the Sacramento area, and throughout California, school libraries
are the neglected piece of educational reform, victims of haphazard standards."
