Gen: Tape Recorders: Needed Quickly Please!

Hello Distinguished Colleagues--
I need your help! Teachers in my school need to purchase TAPE RECORDER/PLAYERS
with their remaining funds. They need to spend it immediately  (or lose
it)--nothing like last minute, right?
ANYWAY, they have had bad luck in the past and want to order sturdy RELIABLE
tape recorder/players for classroom use. Heavy use, in fact.
What do you suggest?  Brand names would be wonderful, places to order them
even more wonderful.
And please, if you have this information, could you share it with me VERY
soon?
