In case you are interested, we had Peter Catalanotto  at our school to day
and he was WONDERFUL!  The general consensus was that he was the best we've
ever had.  He really humanized the writing and illustrating process and gave
the kids great advise.  Even I left feeling inspired to go and write
something.  He was open about his difficulties and even pointed out a big
mistake in one of his books.  The over all message was that it is better to
try and make a mistake than not to try at all.  Old message, delivered in a
dynamic way.  He is from the Philadelphia area.
