HI.. a fifth grade teacher is looking for literature for her class about the 1950's- 1960 black civil rights/ prejudice/ segregation era. I have come up with Mildred Taylor's ROll of Thunder/ and Let the circle be unbroken, but these two books take place a 20 years earlier!! Looked around my school library system union catalog and even in Amazon but have come up with nothing but non-fiction.. If something comes to mind.. please contact me.. this group is the best and i really appreciate all your wonderful ideas///bev ***************************************** "Rather than focusing on things and time, focus on perserving and enhansing relationships and on accomplishing results" (Stephen R.
