Colleagues, My school has just chosen our school-wide novels for the fall. The entire school starts off the year together reading the same book or books on the same themes - one for grades 5 and 6, the other for 7 and 8 - as in this case. They are Spinelli's Wringer and Byars's Cracker Jackson. If any of you have any lessons or activities (or knowledge of same) on these novels, commercial or non-commercial to share with us I'd appreciate the assistance! Sandy P. in Philly "It's got to be the going not the gettin' there that's good." Harry Chapin in song "Take the Greyhound" "But then, you could go both ways!"
